I can play DirecTV from the application on my iPhone and iPad but I'm looking to play it from my Mac. So I used my older Windows 10 pc updated and tried Edge and Chrome. Why do I Keep getting this no matter what browser I Use, Chat Cant Help Calling Doesnt Help I watch TV in My Basement on my Gaming Rig connected to my 55 Inch LED TV Running Windows 7 64 Bit. Yesterday they wanted me to test on another pc and OS. Resetting your box often helps with issues like pixilation, bad picture, or trouble with sound. I can however watch ESPN without issue and the DirecTV people I've been dealing with at the Forum know this. This happens on almost all channels(98%). I click on the restart video player link and it just flashes/ blinks (for lack of better description) and just stays on the error message. I still keep getting "Sorry we ran into a problem, please restart the video player". DIRECTV is a satellite television service provider, which was acquired by AT&T in 2015.

I've tested using Safari and Chrome on a new M1 MacBook Pro with the latest of the apps software. When I return to watch a show, Im prompted again to install the player, and so on and so on.

Cisco Video Guard is downloaded and I install it and restart my browser as instructed. I went the next route and created an DirecTV Forum account and pushed my issue there. Unable to install DirecTV Player (Cisco Video Guard) When I attempted to stream a show online, Im prompted to install the DirectTV player. I created a trouble call into DirecTV and it was escalated a couple of months ago and they told me they pushed it up into the next tier and they would contact me back but I've never been called. So i have just got my DirecTV and i go online to watch the channels live and i geth this error message when the player gets to 60 loaded. So I used to be able to view my channels online via the web, logging into my account and clicking on a channel.
